# Review alarms

Alarm triage reviews the active alarms of one Plant. It compares each alarm with the device data around its start time. It works only when SolarSENS serves the alarm tools. See [Guided checks](https://ai.solarsens.co/docs/concepts/skills.md) for the Skills that work now.

## Start the review

Ask this question in your AI tool. Replace the text in square brackets with your own details:

Which alarms at [Plant name] started in [month] and are still active? For each alarm, show the Active Power of its device around the alarm start time.
```

You can also select `alarm-triage` as a prompt.

If you do not give a date, the review uses today in Plant time. It reads the alarms that started in the seven days to that date. An older active alarm can be outside this window. Ask for history to also see cleared alarms.

## Limits

Not checked: work orders, site inspection, alarm rule configuration.

A read does not acknowledge or clear an alarm. A curve pattern does not confirm a cause.
