# Sign in

Sign in with the account that AVA Asia created and linked to your SolarSENS user. The connection is read-only and uses your SolarSENS Plant permissions.

## Before you sign in

AVA Asia creates your sign-in account and links it to your SolarSENS user. Contact AVA Asia to get an account, or if you do not know which account to use.

Without the link, sign-in can succeed but each tool call fails with a "not linked to an active SolarSENS user" error.

## Server address

```
https://mcp.solarsens.co/mcp
```

Follow the guide for [ChatGPT](https://ai.solarsens.co/docs/installation/chatgpt.md), [Claude Desktop](https://ai.solarsens.co/docs/installation/claude-desktop.md), [Claude Code](https://ai.solarsens.co/docs/installation/claude-code.md), or [OpenCode](https://ai.solarsens.co/docs/installation/opencode.md).

Keep **OAuth** selected as the connection method. Let the client discover the sign-in and registration settings. If it asks for a scope, use `read:data`.

Enter your password only on the browser sign-in page. Never paste a password, token, or client secret into a chat or configuration file. Approve the read-only `read:data` access when the sign-in page asks.

## Check your access

After connection, ask the assistant to list your accessible Plants. Contact AVA Asia if a Plant is missing; a successful sign-in does not grant new Plant access.

If you previously used another server address, update the connection to the address above and sign in again. Saved credentials do not transfer between server addresses.

The homepage demo uses a separate demo account. Connect your own assistant to see your own Plants.
