# Questions to try

Select a task. Copy its prompt into your AI assistant. You do not need to know tool names or write code.

## All scenario prompts

Paste a prompt into a chat where SolarSENS is connected. Replace the text in square brackets with your details. SolarSENS tests each prompt on this page with sample data.

### Portfolio health

Start of the day: find the Plants that need attention.

```
Which of my Plants have a problem today?
```

[Check your plants](https://ai.solarsens.co/docs/guides/portfolio-check.md)

### Plant performance

The performance ratio of one Plant is low. Find out why.

```
Was yesterday's PR low at [Plant name]? Why?
```

[Review performance](https://ai.solarsens.co/docs/guides/plant-analysis.md#run-the-plant-performance-review)

### Alarm investigation

A Plant has active alarms. See what the devices show.

```
Which alarms at [Plant name] started in [month] and are still active? Show the device and the start time of each alarm.
```

[Review alarms](https://ai.solarsens.co/docs/guides/alarm-triage.md)

### String diagnostics

One string gives less power than the other strings.

```
Which string on [inverter] at [Plant name] is weak in the daily analytics for [date]?
```

[Review strings](https://ai.solarsens.co/docs/guides/string-review.md)

### Missing value

A value is blank, zero, or old. Find which source has the data.

```
Show the stored 5-minute power and irradiance at [Plant name] from [start time] to [end time] on [date]. Tell me which values are missing.
```

[Check a missing value](https://ai.solarsens.co/docs/guides/missing-value.md)

## More questions

```
Show [Plant name] power and irradiance on [date] at 5-minute intervals.
```

```
Compare inverter yield and availability at [Plant name] for [date range].
```

```
Is [string] on [inverter] at [Plant name] a real fault? Show its 5-minute Idc and Udc around noon on [date], from [start time] to [end time] local time.
```

For a detailed follow-up, start with one inverter and a short time range. Divide a large request into smaller questions.

## Before you decide

* A low result can have many causes, for example weather or missing data. Ask for the evidence before you decide that equipment has failed.
* A missing value is "no reported value". It is not zero.
* An alarm date range selects when the alarm started. An older alarm can still be active. To include cleared alarms, ask for the alarm history.
* Reading an alarm does not acknowledge or clear it.
